Research on Double page spreads and magazines

To help us with our Ancillaries we had to do a task of research our double page spreads and adverts in magazines and newspapers

This was my first draft. The feedback I got from this was that I used a lot of photographic magazines instead of using magazines that would allow me to annotate what I learnt from it.

Institution

After looking at various documentaries we believe that our documentary will be best classified as a BBC Three documentary. This is due to the target audiene that we are aiming at.

BBC three also tends to show:
Entertaining documentaries
Factual documentaries

This is precisely the purpose of our documentary.

When I compared my findings to BBC one Channel 4 and Sky documentaries. What i noticed about these documentaries was that they were either critical or serious topics that are related to world related issues. E.g Channel 4- Extraordinary people.

Documentaries like these are mainly targeted at a young audience, hence the reason why we decided that BBC three as an institution would be suitable.

Gathering our ideas
